The Power of Prayer

A cousin of mine from Negros Occidental just arrived the other day for a vacation, but then he said that his older brother went to Manila and was never heard from again right around the time that the MV Princess of the stars sunk. Could it be that he was one of the victims, that he drowned? Goodness, I hope not. I have never met them in person but it hurts to know that a relative is gone. So hopefully he is fine, though his brother said that he used to send text messages and all of a sudden he stopped. Who knows why and what happened to him. My father asked me to see about the accounted victims and see if his name is listed. I feel bad for everyone that was on that ship. Anyway, they say the power of prayer helps. So we just never know what can happen. People can never conclude that there is no God or that there is God, for we don't know. However, we can only hope there is God, so people will have some kind of a chance at something that we would like to think is better than our experience on earth, if indeed as such exist. Some people say it is better to believe rather than to live saying there isn't then die and find out there is. I guess it is about making sure that no matter what, you will have a chance. With me, all I want to do is be happy and live my life as best as I can. I never have to worry about anything for I stay put since I don't know, but yes, people shouldn't take things for granted. I can only be myself, and believe on my own terms. Okay, may all the prayers help.

Prayer for the MV Princess of the stars fatalities and survivors.
Dear God, we pray that you comfort each bereaved family everyday as they grieved for their loss, we pray that you will supply all their needs, we pray for the survivors that they may have a good life after the tragedy, that you will bless them and let them know in the deepest part of their heart that in spite of what have happened, you LOVE and CARE for them. This we pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
