I get paid to blog...

I love blogging, but most of all getting paid to do so. It is what keeps me going with blogging every day, because I get to earn real money. Now, with this blog, I just signed it up to blog for Bloggerwave, a site that lets bloggers like me earn extra monetary income. So, I am so happy that a stay at home mother like me can actually make some money blogging, and can stay home for my children. It's so convenient for me to earn money because all I have to do is blog; write a review, in other words I get paid for my opinions. Oh, isn't that great? So if you are interested, and want to get paid, too, for blogging, be sure to visit www.bloggerwave.com.

My 1and1 domain tutorial...

Finally, I have the time to set up my own tutorial for those that are still having trouble with making their 1and1 domain names to work like mine here. Well, it is not that complicated peeps. All I actually did, was follow the BlogSpot/blogger tutorial domain name set up, and tinker with how to forward my domain to work the way I have it. I got to make both my domain name with the www prefix and the one without the www prefix to work just fine. So here, let me share my secret key to make them work. First, you log in, of course, then find and click "Domains or Manage Domains", and follow the blogger/BlogSpot tutorial; "set up instructions" with creating a "Sub domain". Yes, create a sub domain first by clicking "New" and choose "Create Sub domain" then fill in the blank with www and click "Ok". Next, select your sub domain; put a check in the box, and find the "DNS" tab above and pick "Edit DNS Settings". As soon as the page opens, choose the "CNAME" to edit it. You will then see the "Alias*" input box, there you put in the ghs.google.com and you are good to go, but oops, I think you need to check on the agreement square box...LOL-it's up to you I guess, and click "Ok" to be done with it. Next, let's work with getting your domain name that has no www prefix to cooperate with forwarding it to your blog. For that to be done, you need to select your default domain name yourdomainname.com and pick the "Destination" tab, there choose "Edit Destination" then select destination, on the pull down menu select "Forward Your Domain" and type in your BlogSpot blog url/web address: http://www.you.blogspot.com or better yet your custom domain name that has the www prefix: http://www.yourdomainname.com. For the forwarding type, choose the "Frame Redirect", and lastly, provide all your information for the Title *, Meta description, and Meta keywords then click "Ok" to finish. You are done except, you need to set up your BlogSpot blog to work with your domain name. It's simple, you did that already, but if you haven't, do the following; log in to your BlogSpot blog, click "Setting" and choose "Custom Domain" and fill in the blank with your new custom domain name that has the www prefix. www.yourdomainname.com and click "Save Settings" below. At last, your blog will work with your domain name now. You are all set, done.

P.S. I forgot to say that any changes made to the DNS settings, will take up to 24 hours, not to all, but to most blogs.

Technorati blog claim...

I just submitted my blog to Technorati. So, I hope it will help me get some ranking going. I never knew about it until I submitted my blog to the PPP which required me to have rankings such as Alexa and Technorati. Here's my profile at the Technorati site "Technorati Profile". Gorsh, I don't even know what these rankings are all about, how it works, etc. All I know is that it's good for my blog...LOL. It's like taking meds; I only take it because it is good for me. Anyway, let me go for now. I am just trying to make this new blog of mine with Technorati.

Sis. Gemma's wedding day...

Gemma and her fiancé James wed today. I mean they are getting married this very day. Wow, how quick, but that is a normal process in the Phines that I know of. Anyway, they are now husband and wife. It's just too bad that things didn't go as planned; they didn't get to hire the professional videographer. Now, we can't see the nice video that has soundtracks which makes a video fun to watch. Gosh, I can't believe it; it would have been nice and exciting. So, we will just have to watch the regular video now then. There's no since in crying over spilled milk...LOL. I will still be thankful to see any video.

My sister finally met her prince...

My sister Gemma finally met her prince charming on June the 3rd. They seem to get along right off the bat. Both Gemma and her fiancée are doing fine with getting to know each other. They are having their courtship time, good for them. I heard that they both are so sweet, just like Nora and her husband who are always loving and sweet to each other-they are a nice couple. As for us, we seem to have graduated from that sort of things already...hmmm...we never really get along so well anyway. If I have to say, we kinda have a stormy marriage-just to be honest. Okay, I am outta here for now.

School time...

It's school time once again in the Phines. My siblings are all enrolled now, so they can all continue their schooling. Isn't that great? I am happy that they will get to finish school. I really hope they do. Anyway, school time there is just the opposite of the school time here, because here, kids get off school on June, but there, schools open on June. My, what a whole different set up with such complete difference. A complete opposite I’d say. June 13 is our daughter's last day of school, and there, June 6 is the first day of school...LOL. It's funny.

My future brother in law...

My future brother in law is flying to the Philippines right now. Wow, he will finally get to be with his soul mate; the one he's been searching for a long time. He waited for her his whole life and now a new day has come. His awaited moment has finally arrived, that he will get to live sharing his life with someone. My sister will have a family of her own. How neat, and I like it. Anyway, I hope my soon to be brother in law will arrive safely, so nothing will go wrong. I can't wait for his return already, so I can see the videos...LOL.
