We took our baby Hannah to her Pediatrician today for her well visit and a few shots that she is due for. A good thing she took it just fine, though she had to cry at first. My, she has grown so much already. She is 25 inches and a half long, and the Doctor said, she is tall. So, she will probably be tall-takes after the tall relatives. She is 15 lbs. and some ounces now-it is the middle of the road weight, which is healthy enough. She is doing fine for sure. Anyway, the poor little one had to go all over the place with mom, because we also had to stop somewhere else looking for a particular part for our damaged sliding glass door, but ugh! We still didn't find the part we are looking for, though we had to go back over there twice-such a long way from home. That made my husband irritated going back and forth for nothing especially when the sales rep-wasn't very helpful to him carrying on with a nonchalant attitude. And with the high rocketing gas prices, it adds up to the equation. It also kills my husband to see the high sky gas prices. It makes him wonder how the gas companies can just get away with setting the high prices like they do, making the not so fortunate people go broke in the process just spending money on gasoline.

A spooky dream woke me up...
I had a spooky dream early this morning that woke me up and had me scared-spooked out. It was about my uncle who was brutally murdered riding a motorbike/cycle making a circling motor cycle noise, then eventually it turned into a fast pacing running back and forth horse with someone riding it-horseback riding in the pouring rain and in the dark. It was as if something's came up and making some news. I was hearing my mother's voice asking “who's that?” My mother was in their old house; she and her siblings grew up in-a big wooden house, and I was situated close to our old house, too-just right across it with only a field in between separating us. We lived with only a walking distance from my grandparents house. So in my dream, I took a peek at who is riding the horse and all of a sudden, the horse turned around running towards me or my direction, scaring me because to me it was my uncle who was murdered but what I saw was my other uncle-the older brother, because when the horse got closer, I was seeing a different person riding it. I heard my father say to my oldest uncle that "one of the men that ran from the authorities who murdered my uncle is finally caught"...LOL, I would be amazed. Ugh! such a dream shook me up a bit-I don't like haunting, it scares me, and surely I couldn't go back to sleep after that. I felt horrible; shaken up. So here I made some posts to occupy me.

Happy Mother's Day 2007!!!
I can still remember that I talked about Mother's Day here a couple of years ago, that my mother and I don't really get along as well as some do. Well, maybe because I was such a rebellious child. I was also the oldest, so, that made it even tougher for me to manage growing up having to do a lot at home. My, that was hard to be the oldest child. I think so because I was the one that everybody relied upon; I did the cooking, washing, and all the house chores if my parents were busy. And now that I am married, I am having to do the same, I have responsibilities, only this time, everything I do is all for grownups to do, and that is me. Life goes on indeed. As for the holiday; Mother's Day, I never knew that it exists, not until I came to the U.S. I didn't hear about it being celebrated at home. Strange, but I guess it is celebrated in the big cities where people are up to the latest and keeping up with the traditions. Anyway, I used to write long about our holidays, but now, I am a little too busy anymore, so I settle with writing short posts. Okay, till here for now, it's getting late and so I've got to go. Happy Mother's Day everyone! Have a good one!

Sis. Gemma getting married...
My sister Gemma will be getting married next month-she will be a June bride, too, like me. So, it is another new son in law for our parents to welcome coming from the U.S.A. Well, just like with her oldest sister (me) and older sister Nora-who followed my footstep, and now ours...LOL. All the girls will be here if that is the case, that when one does something everyone goes. It's fun though no matter what, because I enjoy having my family close by. Gemma is the fourth child in the family, who is going to be 22 years old this July, and so it's time for her to move on and have a family of her own, too-like us here. Oh, I can't wait to see her wedding video, I am excited. I even picked out some of the music that will play as soundtrack. Anyway, enough of my blabbing here for now, I'll save the rest for later.

Happy Spring!!!
Hi everyone! Happy spring!!! I hope you are having a fun time spring cleaning. As for me, I am not done yet; I am still working on planting more flowers in our yard all around our house. My, spring is neat; I love that season, as it brings out the beauty of nature once again, and again. I feel refreshed too, just like being reborn you know, so isn't that amazing? Spring is great. I love it!

Peniano family goes hightech...
I can't chat very often with my family anymore since our daughter is going to school and I have a new baby. I am way too busy to be able to do so as I am always pre-occupied. Blog advertising is tying me up a bit, too, especially when I have trouble coming up with my story or how to go about with the subject-opp. Ugh! It is hard; I just get a headache sometimes. My English is poor, and that doesn't help at all, I often have to take some time just thinking about what I am going to say, and doing so is definitely time consuming…irk. This is it, I should have been more adamant with taking ESL way before I had children. It's becoming a hassle. Anyway, I'll try hard to manage somehow, so I can help my family, too. I wish they can do what I am doing right now since they have access to a computer every day and spend lots of time online not doing a lot other than chit-chatting. In fact, there are times that I want to trade places with them, so that I can just hang out and have fun. Be on the computer and enjoy my time without any extra work...LOL, lazing around. Okay, this is all. I just need to get another post done.
